MetroNorth saved businesses in Anoka County millions of dollars by leading the effort to uncover alternative funding for superfund cleanup sites.

MetroNorth proposed and passed legislation that allows micro family businesses to secure group rates on health insurance.
MetroNorth annually organizes the largest business legislative reception in the Metro area.

History

MetroNorth Chamber was incorporated on December 20^th, 1968, as the Blaine Chamber of Commerce. Thirty-four area business leaders signed as the original incorporators. The name of the Chamber changed to the Anoka County Chamber of Commerce on December 7, 1982. A decade later the name was changed to MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce.
