Prime Time Medical Training is proud to announce that our new nursing Assistant/ home Health Aide dual certification program has been approved by Minnesota Department of Health. This new 4-7 week program can be completed in just 4 short weeks, full time or in 7 short weeks, part time. The program includes both classroom and clinical instruction. Upon Successful completion students can then take the Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant Competency Exam. Space is limited as we cater to small class sizes to help facilitate a more personalized learning experience for our students.
What is a certified nursing assistant (CNA)?
A CNA (certified nursing assistant) works under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and serve as patient care givers in a variety of settings including: Nursing homes, Assisted living facilities, Hospitals, Rehab facilities, Group Homes, plus more. The CNA role is very important as they are often the eyes and ears of the nursing profession.

Becoming a certified nursing assistant is a great way to leverage your career in healthcare. It is usually the pathway that many nurses must embark on in order to be accepted to nursing school. Don't want to be a nurse? That's fine. Because healthcareers are in such high demand, job security and room for advancing your career is never overlooked. CNA is a good and affordable way to get your foot in the door with a great organization before pursuing further studies. And last but not least, students can get all expenses including mileage reimbursed once they've completed their certification.
