• Merchandising Assistant

    Our Merchandising Assistant partners with the merchandising team to execute vendor billing, data entry, research, analysis, report generation, and other necessary administrative functions. If you have strong attention to detail and love working with a great team, apply today! 

    As a Merchandising Assistant, you will

    • Execute administration of vendor chargebacks, vendor returns, and disposition of products including processing vendor price increases
    • Process payments, checks, and credit memos. Works with vendors to ensure timely payment
    • Provide Buyers with reporting of past due vendor accounts
    • Obtain all required information necessary to accurately set up approved vendors
    • Utilize vendor price sheets and catalogs to set up new items with proper cost and product descriptions
    • Work with Buyers to place purchase orders with vendor partners and execute merchandise floor plans for all store locations
    • Perform administrative functions to assist Director of Merchandising and Buyers (general communications, filing, etc.)
    • Assist Director of Merchandising and Buyers with internal and external communication, including store communication, vendors, customer service, etc.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    To succeed as a merchandising assistant, you must have: 

    • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities
    • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team  
    • Ability to read, write, and understand English
    • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
    • Ability to perform role in alignment with company values

    Job Requirements

    • Associate’s degree or two years related experience
    • Previous retail, inventory management, customer service, or accounting experience
