DP Women's Competitive Gymnastics Coach

The DP Women's Competitive Gymnastics coach will work with athletes to safely execute gymnastics skills and build their self-esteem. This person will be reliable, compassionate, energetic and be flexible and adaptable to change. We have this position open at our Blaine/Ham Lake location. Come join our Jamily! 

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up rotations and teach level appropriate skills, following the Jam Hops gymnastics curriculum
• Give valid corrections and comments to athletes
• Display a positive attitude and body language while coaching
• Adhere to safe practices on all equipment

Additional requirements:

• A love of kids and a love of gymnastics!
• Experience working with USAG levels 6-10 is preferred, but not required
• Ability to handle the physical activity involved in spotting and moving equipment: pulling, lifting, crouching, etc.
• Keep current with required trainings and certifications
• Work 12-16 hours per week, evenings and weekends, possibility of more hours if desired
• Attend monthly staff celebrations and quarterly All Staff trainings
