Studio Assistant Part-Time

Art Lab Rx (www.artlabrx.com) is a mental health agency that specializes in art therapy services and wellness workshops. 

We are seeking a studio assistant to join our team to ensure the studio is up to standards at all times.  The candidate should possess exceptional organizational abilities and a strong inclination toward creativity and artistic expression.  Experience in Canva and use of a Cricut is a plus or the willingness to learn.   

Duties

• Prepare art materials for use with clients

• Monitor inventory

• Stocking

  • Including guest supplies (coffee, candy, TP, etc.)

• Organize and put away donations

• Assist with Break-it-Booth events

• Assist with art projects

• Create graphics in Canva

• Laundry of hand towels and rags

• Ad-hoc projects

Requirements

• Self-starter

• Ability to work independently

• Exceptional organizational skills

• Curious nature

• Lift 30 to 40 pounds

• Pleasant disposition

• Gives opinion when asked

This is an independent contractor position.

Mondays:  9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Wednesdays:  9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Rate:  $18/ hour
